Where do I start?
Read on for our new team members guide to airsoft and bookmark this page so you can come back to it whenever you need to!
What to expect,
Phoenix Project is made up of intermediate to experienced players who have their own gear and weapons.

Our team is made up of players that want to have fun but also dabble in the more serious side of airsoft which can include training days. We aren't talking long runs and PT sessions but learning how to shoot and move, using maps and radios to achieve in game objectives. Practical training that is relevant to the sport of airsoft.

Team members are expected to have the gear and equipment to fit into the current team or be willing to get it.
Start with the Basics....
Team members are players that have been around for a wee bit, they have their own weapons, gear and kit.

Currently team members run an AR Style weapon (M4, HK416 etc) as well as Light Support Weapons and Medium Machine guns.
Running the same platform for our primary weapons means we can exchange mags and keep the team going and to succeed.

Sidearms are a personal choice but you will see us running anything from Glocks to Berretta's and everything in between. As long as it works and goes "pew" at the right time its good to go!

Uniforms, we mostly run British MTP or Multicam. Optional is a wearing camoflague pants and black tee shirt (mostly in summer). Team webbing choice is Tan or Coyote Brown. This can be belt kit, vest, plate carrier or chest rig. There are exceptions depending on the role you are playing within the team.
Most team members are more then happy to help new players source kit and gear.
Next level,
This is the next step, overnight gear and equipment.
This can include packs, sleeping gear, warm and wet weather gear, cooking equipment and the extra kit that sustains you for more then a day.
Members are expected to acquire this kit over time, again existing team members are more than willing to help and assist new players to find this equipment.
Quality gear is key, you don't want your gear to fail you when you need it so look for good kit and research different brands.
